Three Perspectives, Bokeh Wednesday, & Pistachio Salad...

Our theme for The Three Perspectives this week was "shell". I instantly thought of pistachios and then {much like a three year old} instantly thought of pistachio salad. You know, that great tasting mint green, marshmallowy jello type salad you see a lot at Fourth of July picnics and such. So, okay, I'll back it up a bit and try to slow down.
Here is this week's trippy. I love how we all had a different interpretation of the word "shell." To find out more about our triptych project, you can read this.

Today is also Wednesday which means two things. 1) I have to take Rayne to school rather than put her on the bus {a little deal we have worked out and 2) it's Bokeh Wednesday over at Flickr.
In photography, bokeh is the blur,[1][2] or the aesthetic quality of the blur,[3][4][5] in out-of-focus areas of an image, or "the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light."[6] Differences in lens aberrations and aperture shape cause some lens designs to blur the image in a way that is pleasing to the eye, while others produce blurring that is unpleasant or distracting— "good" or "bad" bokeh, respectively.[1] Bokeh occurs for parts of the scene that lie outside the depth of field. Photographers sometimes deliberately use a shallow focus technique to create images with prominent out-of-focus regions
If you wish, you can find some examples of bokeh here! You can see how I've bokehed the pistachios here...
...which brings me to pistachio salad! {yummy} It's super simple to make.
Ingredients
Box of instant pistachio pudding
20 oz. can of crushed pineapple in juice {un-drained}
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 1/2 cup thawed whipped cream
Directions
Mix them all together and allow to set up in the fridge for an hour.
See...SUPER easy! Enjoy your day, everyone!
